Gilas Men's And Women's 3X3 Settle For Silver At 32nd SEA Games

The Philippines' 3X3 teams fell short in claiming gold at this year's Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.

In the Women's 3X3 Finals, twins Kayleigh and Kaylynne Truong lead Vietnam to their first ever 3X3 gold medal beating the Philippines, 21 - 16. The Filipinas ended up with the silver medal instead.

Meanwhile, Gilas Pilipinas Men's 3X3 fell to hosts Cambodia 20 - 15. Clearly, the import-laden Cambodians were a force to be reckoned with, as they bagged the gold medal at the biennial event.

It was indeed a valiant effort for Gilas Men's 3X3, as they settled for the silver medal.

Both Gilas 3X3 teams will have to wait for a couple of years to get another crack at reclaiming the gold medal at the next SEA Games in 2025.
