Gilas Women Lose To Australia In FIBA Women's Asia Cup Debut

The Filipinas clearly got overwhelmed by the Opals' height and tenacity which was evident in the first quarter alone. Rookie Vanessa De Jesus showed no fear in her first stint for Gilas Women and scored 11 of her 18 points before halftime.
