LAS VEGAS - The Professional Fighters League, the fastest growing and most innovative sports league in the world, kicked off the 2023 PFL Regular Season with PFL 1, which featured matchups in the Featherweight and Light Heavyweight divisions.

2022 PFL Featherweight Champion Brendan Loughnane began his campaign for back-to-back championships with a spectacular TKO victory over former WSOF champion Marlon “Magic” Moraes in the main event.

The co-main event saw 2022 PFL Light Heavyweight Champion “Razor” Rob Wilkinson welcome former world title challenger Thiago “Maretta” Santos to the SmartCage. The heavy-handed Wilkinson used his superior grappling to defeat Santos by unanimous decision, 29-28 across the board.

Light heavyweights Marthin Hamlet and Joshua Silveria both turned in impressive submission victories to move up to the top of the Light Heavyweight standings.

Further action also saw Bubba Jenkins and Movlid Khaybulaev earn decision victories.
